Winner of Two ASID Design Awards for Model Homes and Product Design for Powder Bath

Nestled among exclusive valley foothills, the builder of this custom home community contracted with Debra May Himes Interior Design and Associates to prominently introduce the new builder to potential clients within the area, and to showcase their quality craftsmanship.

Debra received two ASID awards for her first model home by creating a true eclectic look with the mixtures of stones, metals and textures. Finishes chosen included Mexican Noce travertine, Giallo Veneziano granite, Black Galaxy granite and various tumbled marbles and stones.

The use of copper and wrought iron were prevalent throughout the model. A collage of various metals was used to create interest in texture and finishes. The high ceilings and large spaces required the use of proportionate large-scale furniture. She also selected the exterior finishes of the model home.
